The Adaptive Systems, Intelligence and Mechatronics (AIM) Laboratory, has over 1,200 square feet of available space. The laboratory is equipped with instrumentation for machining small Micro Air Vehicles (MAVs), flight control on an UAV, testing sensors on the UAV, implementing control and navigation algorithms on high performance FPGA- and STM32 Micro controller based platforms, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and designing and verifying electronic circuits.
A antonymous underwater vehicle, 1.2 meter length driven by four 30Wats water pumps. Maximum cruse speed 1.2m/s, battery life 1 hour, has underwater acoustic communication module, attitude sensor, navigation and control system.
