Capabilities
Basic and appllied research on the continental shelf, coastal ocean, and estauries. As presently equipped, the AUV is optimized for water column research. Research-specific acquisitions can improve the benthic (acoustic) sampling capabilities of the vehicle. Large battery capacity enables missions not suitable for smaller AUVs or gliders.
