HMC Iver 2 configuration
Summary
The OceanServer Iver2 is Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) that is propeller driven and controlled via 2 horizontal fins to control pitch and 2 vertical fins to control yaw. Its sensor package includes 3DOF compass, depth sensor, GPS, and altimeter. The AUV can be driven manually through wireless communication when surfaced, and programmed for missions that allow for waypoint navigation. A secondary processor has also been added to allow the AUV to be fully programmable.
