Overview

AUVAC provides an organizational structure whereby potential users might obtain access to existing AUV systems and facilities. The broad goal of AUVAC is to facilitate the sharing of resources and information in order to advance the development and utilization of AUV systems. During the initial three years of the program, AUVAC will be primarily funded by federal grants. During that initial period, AUVAC will transition from a grant funded project to a self sustaining center funded by organizations who are utilizing the AUV systems and other AUVAC products and services. The following pages provide a summary of those products and detail some of the services that are provided by AUVAC by its in-house staff or member organizations.
