AUVSI 2010 Unmanned Systems Interoperability Conference

October 18-21, 2010

October 18, 2010 - October 21, 2010
The NTC Promenade, San Diego CA

Theme: The Small Business Administration's Cluster Initiative is the conference theme: "Energize the Economy- Maintain Traditions of Excellence - Dominate the Battlespace."

The Unmanned Systems Conference is a venue to discuss a wide variety of topics surrounding various types of interoperability issues:

Interaction with manned systems - unmanned and robotics systems must interoperate with a wide variety of manned platforms, weapons systems, and C4ISR systems

Inter-system - interoperability between different unmanned or robotic systems, which are required for such systems to cooperate and perform complex missions in denied, contested, or permissive environments; or in disaster space

Interaction with personnel "on scene" - whether first responders in a civil emergency, troops operating/working in theater or combat, etc., and in a wide variety of situations such as logistical support, casualty evacuation, manned/unmanned/robotics combined arms operations, etc.

Intra-system - component level interoperability issues to enable interchangeable parts within an unmanned or robotic system.

Special topics of importance are: interoperability of people, their systems, and unmanned systems; the C2 of unmanned systems/swarms; human factors in C2; potential compromise of the control of unmanned systems, and evolving issues such as FAA rules and sensor fusion.

ONR 2010 Naval Science and Technology Partnership Conference

November 8-10, 2010

By investing in next-generation technology, ONR pursues the delivery of technological advantages, such as critical equipment, tools and training, to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. We collaborate with the brightest minds from around the world to support our current and future force, laying the foundation for many of those partnerships at the Naval Science and Technology Partnership Conference.

The purpose of this conference is to:

Introduce and advance awareness of ONR's S&T strategy and program initiatives
Present science and technology program challenges and discuss possible technology solutions
Broaden our science and technology partnership base and explore new ideas with participants
This year’s event, Aug. 24-26, will present valuable insights on key topics:

Autonomous Systems
Directed Energy and Hypervelocity
Warfighter Performance
Information Dominance
Total Ownership Cost Reduction
Expeditionary and Irregular Warfare
Power & Energy
Doing Business with ONR
We will also provide an update on energy research that supports the Secretary of the Navy's five energy goals set at our Naval Energy Forum last October.

Subsea Survey IRM 2010

November 9-11, 2010

The only conference in the world devoted to Oil &Gas and Maritime industry underwater survey and IRM products and services.

"Subsea Survey” in the oil & gas industry means a great deal more than seabed surveys. Subsea Survey IRM 2010 will focus on the work performed by survey, diving, ROV and engineering contractors. The move to perform IRM tasks in shallow to ultra-deep waters using advanced techniques and ROVs, AUVs and specialized tools has led to the expansion of the Subsea Survey technical program and exhibition to include all aspects of the global subsea survey industry.

Warship 2011

June 29-30, 2011

London UK

Warships 2011 will be the 31st in the successful Warship series of conferences organised by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, and the tenth to cover the topic of 'Naval Submarines'. Warships 2011 will also, for the first time, include the rapidly growing new field of military Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs), which have an expanding role and are increasing in both complexity and capability.
