Poland – Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs) for Mine Detection and Seaport Protection

Purchase of two Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs) and three computer systems for mine detection and harbour protection to be delivered by 2013 to the Polish Navy.

The Armament Inspectorate in Warsaw announced a tender for a purchase of Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs) and 3 compatible computer systems for mine detection and harbour protection. UUVs systems are to be used by marine forces for coast protection and quick analysis of hydrological conditions in mine warfare.

The requested UUVs are meant for seaports in Swinoujscie/Szczecin and Gdynia, Poland. Specification: CPV 35512400 – FB01, 30213000 – FB01. The closing day for applications is 24 August 2012.
