A successful Oceanology International 2012 with over 525 exhibitors from 33 countries in the major exhibition is about to launch. From 13 to 15 March 2012 in the ExCeL Centre situated in the London Docklands, seven separate one-day conferences are scheduled, focusing on ocean observation & forecasting; hydrography & geophysics; navigation & positioning; oil & gas; marine renewables; maritime security; and unmanned underwater vehicles.
Vessels will be moored alongside, and accessible from, the exhibition hall; there are dockside product demonstrations and a careers day is aimed at attracting new blood to the sectors it serves; there also is a full programme of associated events. Event manager James Coleman of Reed Exhibitions is expecting in excess of 8,000 delegates from over 70 countries to join us over the three packed days. This year’s event is larger both in terms of exhibitors and the space they have taken (525 and 7,700m2 compared to 2010’s 515 and 7,070m2). All of the exhibition space has now been reserved or sold.
